Measurements & fit

Race-issued kit is cut for competition, not for the high street. It runs closer to the body than the same size in a retail range, and every piece here is a one-off — there is no second size to send if the first one is wrong. Measure first.

How to measure

ChestAround the fullest part of the chest, tape level under the arms and parallel to the floor. Breathe normally.
WaistAround the natural waist, the narrowest point, usually just above the navel. Do not pull the tape tight.
HipAround the fullest part of the hips and seat, with your feet together.
Then compareCheck your numbers against the brand table below, and against a garment you already own and like the fit of.

All measurements are body measurements in centimetres, as published by each brand — not the garment laid flat.

How each piece is cut

SingletsA race singlet is cut close and short in the body so it moves with you and sheds heat. It is meant to sit against the skin, not to drape.
Crop TopsA competition crop top is a compression piece: short in the body and tight through the chest by design.
Competition BriefsRace briefs are compression-cut with a high leg. They are designed to fit tight — that is the garment doing its job.
Racing ShortsRacing shorts run short in the inseam and close on the leg, split or straight-hem. Nothing about the cut is relaxed.
Half TightsHalf tights are mid-thigh compression. They should feel firm; a loose pair is the wrong size.
Long TightsFull-length compression tights. Firm through the whole leg by design.
SpeedsuitA speedsuit is the tightest piece in any kit — one-piece, aerodynamic, sized to the body and nothing else. Go by the chart, not by preference.
JerseysTeam jerseys sit closer than a retail top but are not compression. Regular athletic fit.
Arm SleevesSleeves are sized by arm circumference, not by the body chart. If you are unsure, ask us and we will measure the actual pair.
Calf WarmersCalf warmers are sized by calf circumference, not by the body chart. Ask us and we will measure the actual pair.
T-shirtsTeam training and travel tee. Regular athletic fit — the standard chart applies.
JacketsTeam warm-up or travel jacket, cut to layer over race kit. The standard chart applies.
PantsWarm-up or travel trousers. Go by waist and hip on the standard chart.
TracksuitsTeam tracksuit, cut to layer. The standard chart applies.
