On 1 January 2026 the NN Running Team became the dsm-firmenich Running Team. The announcement came four days later, on 5 January, and it named three things at once: dsm-firmenich as title partner, NN Group staying on in a new role as founding partner, and Huawei arriving as technology partner. The one line in that release that matters to anyone who collects kit was the one that changed nothing — “NIKE Remains Main Partner and Team Supplier”, unbroken since the team launched in April 2017.
dsm-firmenich is a Dutch-Swiss company formed by the merger of Royal DSM and Firmenich, completed on 9 May 2023, listed on Euronext Amsterdam as DSFIR, with double headquarters in Maastricht and Kaiseraugst and around 30,000 employees. It makes ingredients: perfumery and beauty, health and nutrition, taste and texture.
A half-zip jersey is the mid layer of an issued athletics kit: a stretch polyester knit with a high collar and a sternum-length zip, worn for cold-weather training and around the stadium.
The zip is the point: a quarter open over a warm-up, closed to the chin in a cold call room. It is the only garment in the kit with a thermostat, and the most wearable piece a team ever issues.
