NN Pro Elite
2024
6 team-issue pieces from the 2024 cycle live in our archive — the season this page reads, race by race, in the jersey it was run in.
NN Running Team 2024 kit is team issue from the 2024 season of the first professional running team — a line closed for good by the January 2026 rename to dsm-firmenich.
This page reads the season first: what the team actually did that year, verified result by result — then the kit it was done in, and every piece of it in our archive.

The Last Full Year of the Name
Nobody knew it at the time, but 2024 was the last full season the team would race as the NN Running Team. It contained the whole range of what this squad has ever been: a home win in Rotterdam, a New York title, a course record in Amsterdam and the arrival of the next generation — while the Games of August, raced in federation kit, belong to other pages. Four cards tell it.
The four cards (table)
| Card | What happened |
|---|---|
| ROTTERDAM | Nageeye wins at home |
| RAK | Mateiko breaks out |
| 2:07:39 | New York forgives |
| NEXT GEN | The handover begins |
From Rotterdam to Central Park
The Games of August were raced in federation kit — Cheptegei's 10,000 m in Uganda's, the marathon squad's hard day in Kenya's, Uganda's and the Netherlands' — and they are told in our country pages, not here. The team's own year ran on the roads.

The recovery defined the season. Nageeye had already reclaimed Rotterdam in the spring; in November he won New York in 2:07:39, the first Dutch winner in the race's history, at 35. Yehualaw took Amsterdam in a course-record 2:16:52 — breaking her own team-mate's mark — and Daniel Mateiko announced himself: RAK Half winner and third in Valencia (2:04:24) in the first marathon he ever finished. Thirteen months later the name came off the jersey; this was its farewell season at full strength.

The final NN cycle dresses the travel side in black shells and track jackets trimmed in orange with INEOS on the leg, over flame-orange racing shorts and ribbed tights, closed by a red-orange half-zip. Everything here carries a name that left the jersey in January 2026.
Construction is team issue through and through — our authentication guide covers the tells. Since the January 2026 rename, nothing NN-branded is produced at all.

Team issue from the final full NN-branded cycle: black shells and jackets trimmed in orange with INEOS on the leg, flame-orange racing shorts and ribbed tights. The January 2026 rename closed the line for good; six pieces live in our archive.
What did the team do on the roads in 2024?
Nageeye won the NN Rotterdam Marathon in April and New York in November, the first Dutch winner there; Yehualaw won Amsterdam in a course-record 2:16:52; Mateiko won the RAK Half and was third in Valencia in 2:04:24. What the same athletes did at the Games was done in federation kit and is told in our country pages.
How did the 2024 season end?
With the recovery: Nageeye won New York in 2:07:39 as the first Dutch champion in the race's history, Yehualaw took Amsterdam in a course-record 2:16:52, and Daniel Mateiko closed his breakout year with a Valencia podium in his first finished marathon.
How do I recognise a 2024 NN piece?
Black travel shells and track jackets with orange trim and INEOS on the leg, flame-orange racing shorts, ribbed orange tights and a red-orange half-zip — the final wardrobe made under the NN name.
