One piece, no seams to catch the air

A speedsuit is a fitted one-piece track racing garment — singlet and shorts fused into a single skin-tight surface — worn by sprinters, hurdlers and relay squads to eliminate loose fabric entirely.

It is also athletics apparel's laboratory: Flo-Jo's 1988 one-leggers, Cathy Freeman's wind-tunnel-zoned Swift Suit at Sydney 2000, London 2012's dimpled TurboSpeed and the Paris 2024 unitards are all chapters of the same experiment. And in a race-issued archive, the one-piece is the scarcest garment of all.

First famous one
Flo-Jo's self-designed “one-legger” suits, 1988
The engineered one
Nike Swift Suit, Sydney 2000 — zoned wind-tunnel fabrics, hooded
Boldest claim
TurboSpeed 2012: up to 0.023 s / 100 m (Nike's own figure)

Questions we get asked

Is Adidas Pro Elite Team 2013 Sleeveless Speedsuit - Gold Medallist Edition authentic?
Yes. It is listed as 100% authentic team-issued kit, from the 2013 season. Every photo on this page is of the actual piece, never a stock shot. Want a closer look at something first? Ask us.
What condition is it in?
It is listed as: With original tags. The photos are of this exact piece, so what you see is what arrives. Ask us before buying if you want more detail on its state.
How does this speedsuit fit?
A speedsuit is the tightest piece in any kit — one-piece, aerodynamic, sized to the body and nothing else. Go by the chart, not by preference. This one is a Adidas L. The size guide lists the body measurements Adidas publishes for that size. And it is the only size there is – every piece here is a one-off.
Can I return it if the size is wrong?
Yes. You have 14 days from delivery: send it back unworn, unwashed and with the numbered authentication tag still attached. Return shipping is on you unless the piece arrived damaged, incorrect or not as described. What we cannot do is swap it for another size – every piece is one of a kind, so there is no second one to send. If you have any doubt about the fit, ask us first.
Where does it ship from and how long does it take?
From Switzerland, tracked, worldwide. Free over €150. We pack it in 1–3 business days, then reckon on 3–7 days within Europe and 7–21 for the rest of the world. Customs duties are separate and are not covered.
