Three titles in Budapest

Budapest 2023 belonged to adidas athletes. Noah Lyles swept the 100m, 200m and relay; Marileidy Paulino won her first global title over 400m in a 48.76 national record; and Ethiopia, dressed by adidas, went one-two in the women's marathon through Amane Beriso and Gotytom Gebreslase. That September adidas released the 138-gram Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 — ten days later Tigst Assefa broke the marathon world record in Berlin wearing it.

The cold-weather race layer

Long tights are full-length stretch knits — roughly 20–28% elastane — worn in athletics for cold-weather training, winter warm-ups and, in events like cross country, for racing itself.

The engineering is settled: wicking knit, ankle zips for changing over spikes, hi-vis trims for dark miles, and brushed or merino-blend interiors when winter gets serious. The craft is in choosing for your coldest real training day — and dressing 10–20°F warmer than the forecast feels.

The switch point
Tights below ~45°F / 7°C per most guides; personal beyond that
The golden rule
Dress as if 10–20°F warmer — running heats you
Fabric
~20–28% elastane blends; verified: 75/25, 72/28, 80/20 examples

Questions we get asked

Is Adidas Pro Elite Team 2023 Women Capri Long Tights authentic?
Yes. It is listed as 100% authentic team-issued kit, from the 2023 season. Every photo on this page is of the actual piece, never a stock shot. Want a closer look at something first? Ask us.
What condition is it in?
It is listed as: With original tags. The photos are of this exact piece, so what you see is what arrives. Ask us before buying if you want more detail on its state.
How does this long tight fit?
Full-length compression tights. Firm through the whole leg by design. This one is a Adidas XS. The size guide lists the body measurements Adidas publishes for that size. And it is the only size there is – every piece here is a one-off.
Can I return it if the size is wrong?
Yes. You have 14 days from delivery: send it back unworn, unwashed and with the numbered authentication tag still attached. Return shipping is on you unless the piece arrived damaged, incorrect or not as described. What we cannot do is swap it for another size – every piece is one of a kind, so there is no second one to send. If you have any doubt about the fit, ask us first.
Where does it ship from and how long does it take?
From Switzerland, tracked, worldwide. Free over €150. We pack it in 1–3 business days, then reckon on 3–7 days within Europe and 7–21 for the rest of the world. Customs duties are separate and are not covered.
